Digital Human Library is looking for students in every province and territory who would like to contribute to reconciliation and learn more about Indigenous ways of knowing, doing and being by connecting IISB Knowledge Nuggets (KN) to a Global Curriculum, the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) Calls to Action.
Indigenous and non-Indigenous students are encouraged to apply.
The project will remain open for 1 year with flexible start dates available between January 1 2024 - December 2024.
*Knowledge Nuggets are short guided educational video resources intended to assist our education systems with understanding Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, world views, and history and follow a more Indigenous way of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities
- Learn Indigenous knowledge, perspectives, and world views
- Participate in training to explore Indigenous ways of teaching and learning
- Connect IISB KN to a global curriculum, the SDGs, and/or the TRC Calls to Action
- Track and record the KN curriculum connections using Google Apps
- Collaborate with the dHL team to achieve agreed upon goals and outcomes
- Assist in sharing this opportunity with your colleagues to help grow our team
- Continuously improve through feedback
In order to be successful in this role you will need to be committed to reconciliation, have previous experience working with curriculum, strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working on an innovative and dynamic team!
Students will receive personalized training to begin the project. Students will collaborate with the dHL team throughout their project work. Meetings will be held online as needed to answer questions, provide support, and engage in feedback conversations. Additional support and communication will take place via email.
