Are you facing issues around effective employee engagement and feedback? Problems with team or interdepartmental communication? Opportunities around change management? Do you need to build a recruitment and selection plan? Develop a training program? This experience invites industry professionals to collaborate with a team of first-year Graduate MBA students specializing in Talent Management. The learners will apply their knowledge of organizational behavior and human resource management to analyze and enhance workplace implementations. Through this project, students will develop skills in strategic HR planning, team dynamics, and organizational culture, providing valuable insights and practical solutions to real-world challenges faced by companies. The overall goal is for students to identify best practices and link them to strategic goals and organizational problems within your organization.

Talent Management Summer 2024
Students will help the company evaluate their current culture and their preferred culture using competing values framework by Quinn and Cameron and OCAI (Organizational Cultural Assessment Instrument) assessment. Students will make recommendations on the preferred culture aligned with company's goals, industry wide trends, current situation, and employees' expectations. What is in there for organizations to invest in organizational culture? Research evidence has reported that organizations' culture influences organizational performance, job satisfaction, employee turnover, absenteeism, innovation, agility, engagement, and competitiveness. Research also shows that a toxic culture decreases productivity with 40%, while an effective culture increases productivity with 20%, and a positive culture even with 30-40% (Ocai-online.com).
